Hi all,
I just wanted to tell you about one service of The Community Software Lab.
We're amped up to expand MVHub this spring and summer.
MVHub.com is a directory of human services programs and agencies. It's a
collaboration of the Community Software Lab and other Lowell nonprofits.
The Lab has been asked to expand MVHub's coverage to Lawrence, MA.
The Lab talks to partner organizations in our sister mill city. There's a
critical community need for MVHub Lawrence. The Census Bureau has
identified Lawrence as the poorest city in Massachusetts. The city's
poverty rate is 27.8% compared to 9.9% in Massachusetts as a whole.
Thanks to help from the Merrimack Valley Workforce Investment Board, I've
presented at several Lawrence-area nonprofit meetings. I've appended the
names of those I met or spoke with below,
