I've heard Phil wouldn't be mad if we asked him to join our
deliberations next Tuesday 02/13 @ 6pm in Olsen Hall (Phil, consider
yourself asked)
We probably need at least 30 minutes to go over the finances, my belief
we need more financial review and the proposed 1-14 day inter fund loan
to pay me.
If Paul Marion is able to attend, we want at least 15 minutes of
introductions to our new official university connection.
Eric Bryant, our new fundraising coordinator would like to deliver a
haiku of introduction. (this is probably news to him). Eric has
enthusiasm for the big picture. We should welcome his observer status at
the board meetings.
In the remaining 70 minutes, we might consider YOUR CONCERNS and these
relatively well defined topics
Is mvhub the right focus for fund raising?
Who gets service (nazis?, wackos?)
How we pursue overdue invoices (we have one)
Should we take on Municipal wireless?
How should our finances be reviewed?
We might consider these important but less well defined topics.
What progress have we made toward our non-profit purposes?
How do we stay focused?
What is/should be our relationship to the university be?
What are our future space needs?
Time permitting, I'll email a little more background on these issues,
but this will be behind readable financial reports in the queue.
