also the first board member not originally nominated by me which is a
milestone.

This procedure is a bit roughshod over the prerogatives of our Chair and
 slightly less formal than is sometimes the custom. If this strikes
anyone as bad, say so and we'll do things more formally.

Community Software Lab.  I have discussed this position with Charlotte;
