The City of Lowell Division of Planning and Development will hold a
Public Hearing on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 5:30 PM at the SENIOR
CENTER, to provide technical assistance on submission of an RFP for
Federal Entitlement Funds (CDBG, HOME, and ESG), review performance of
current projects, and obtain input on housing and community development
needs. 

A separate Public Hearing will be held on the same date and location at
7:00 PM to assist the City in planning for the Housing Opportunities for
Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program.  The City of Lowell will award HOPWA
funds to eligible sub-recipients that provide eligible housing and
related services within Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  

RFPs for all federal funds are available beginning at 12:00 PM November
19, 2007 at the City of Lowell DPD, 50 Arcand Drive, 2nd Floor.
Requests for electronic copies may be made through the City's website:
www.lowellma.gov/depts/dpd/rfp. Completed RFPs are due at the DPD Office
by 12:00 PM December 21, 2007.  For more information contact Allison
