[CSL board] update from George Joseph

[Fred G. Martin]

I advise that we simply invite Prof. Joseph to the next board  
meeting, which is relatively soon, and have an email vote on his  
candidacy immediately afterward.

It would make as much sense for him to meet the group of us, before a  
formal decision is made, as it does for all of us to meet him.
