Dear all,

I am responsible for delaying the proceedings by agreeing to ask  
Prof. Joseph about Dan's concern, and then not doing anything for 3  
weeks.  I apologize for this.

Now that we have this information, I do feel responsible that we make  
a timely decision on Prof. Joseph.  Our next board meeting is Nov 14  
and it certainly would be nice to act on his interest.

Kristina, you offered for yourself and Laura to have a conversation  
with Prof. Joseph.  Are you still willing to do this?  Shall I make  
the introductions and then let you meet with him (either in person or  
via conf. call)?

Perhaps then you and Laura can report back to the board, and a vote  
could be held by Nov 1.  If in favor, we could have Prof. Joseph  
attend his first meeting as a confirmed board member on Nov 14.  (The  
Nov 1 date allows us to give approx 2 weeks notice to Prof. Joseph  
that he is indeed welcomed into our enterprise, and to please clear  
his Nov 14 evening.)

If possible, I would appreciate if a decision could be taken between  
now and the next board meeting.  Please let me know if this process  
sounds reasonable.  Thank you.
