Dear Prof. Joseph,

Thanks again for your interest in participating as a board member of  
the Community Software Lab.

One of my fellow board members, Kristina Ickes, would like to have  
the opportunity to have a brief conversation with you before the next  
board meeting (which is Wed, Nov 14).

We plan to invite you to this board meeting, and we hope to take a  
decision on your candidacy between now and the meeting (or at the  
meeting itself).
